What is SingleKey ID?

SingleKey ID is a digital identity platform that allows you to access different partner company offerings, such as websites, shops, apps and services with one single login.

Why should I use SingleKey ID?

SingleKey ID allows you to log in to many online offers of SingleKey ID partner companies with only one login so you will no longer have to memorize multiple passwords and user names.

What do I need to be aware of when switching to SingleKey ID?

If you already have an account at a partner company who is now using SingleKey ID, be sure to use the same email address when switching to SingleKey ID.

Can I register only for a single partner company with SingleKey ID?

You can register for a single partner company through a website, shop, app or service using SingleKey ID. If you want to register for a different partner company later, you can log in there with your existing SingleKey ID (email address and password). A login account with this partner is only created when you actually login there for the first time. You may be asked to provide further information to the partner company in order to use specific websites or apps.

Can I use the SingleKey ID offline or is an internet connection always required?

In order to log in with SingleKey ID you need internet connection.

Which features are provided by SingleKey ID and which are provided by the partner companies?

SingleKey ID allows you to log in to many different partner companies with your one digital key. Offerings from individual partner companies may differ. They are determined by company-specific offerings, the products and apps you use, your location, the availability of warranties, and further conditions.

What is the relationship between SingleKey ID and their partner companies?

SingleKey ID is used by partner companies in order to log in to their websites and apps. For more information, please have a look at our Terms & Conditions.

How are SingleKey ID and the Home Connect App related to each other?

SingleKey ID can be used to access the Home Connect App – among other partners and their services. In order to use all of the Home Connect App functionalities, you might need a Home Connect®-compatible device in addition.

Do all websites and apps of the partner companies use SingleKey ID?

No, not necessarily. There may be some partner company websites, shops, apps and services that are not or not yet using SingleKey ID for the login.

Manage account and settings

How do I sign up for SingleKey ID?

1. In order to start the sign up click here. You will be forwarded to the SingleKey ID signup.

2. After entering your email address and setting a password, you will receive an email with an activation link. In case you do not receive an email, please check your “Unknown” or “SPAM” folders.

3. Use the activation link in the email to activate your SingleKey ID. Make sure you perform the activation on the same device with which you started the registration.

4. To complete the signup process, please log in with your SingleKey ID credentials (email address and password).

5. You are redirected to the website, shop, app, or service you came from - now being logged in.

How do I delete my SingleKey ID? What happens to my data?

You can delete your SingleKey ID here. Thereby, all connected partner company websites and apps are removed, entailing a deletion request to them. This may cause data loss in all your connected accounts. Depending on the app this may include documents like guarantee certificates and invoices, but also smart home routines or smart device history data. Before deleting your entire ID, please make sure to backup or download all information you may want to keep.

How can I change or reset my password?

To change or reset your password, please log in to the SingleKey ID website. Then go to the ‚My Profile‘ section and click ‚Change password‘.

How can I change my personal data?

To change the personal data associated with your SingleKey ID, please log in to the SingleKey ID website. In the ‚My Profile‘ section, you can change your personal data.

How can I change my email address?

To change your email address, please log in to the SingleKey ID website. Then go to the ‚My Profile‘ section and click ‚Change email address‘.

Can I categorize my account into business or private use?

In order to separate a private account from a business account, you are currently required to sign up two different SingleKey ID's (with two different email addresses).

I forgot my password.

If you forgot your password, go here and select ‘Forgot my password’.

The login to SingleKey ID failed. What can I do?

If the login is not possible, check the following points:

  • Make sure you entered your email address and password correctly.
  • Check your internet connection. On mobile devices, you will need an internet connection with a minimum requirement of two signal bars and an EDGE connection (marked with an “E” on the reception bar).

How can I contact customer service for services or devices I use?

The customer service for specific services, products, or devices of partner companies, can be contacted via their corresponding websites.

I have not received a registration email.

If you have not received a registration email, proceed as follows:

  • Wait at least 15 minutes to make sure that the registration email has been provided by our system.
  • Check your internet connection. On mobile devices, you will need an internet connection with a minimum requirement of two signal bars and an EDGE connection (marked with an “E” on the reception bar).
  • Check the inbox of the email address you entered for new messages (also check folders such as “Unknown” or “SPAM” if necessary).

I don't know which email address I have used for my partner account before.

Before the switch to SingleKey ID, you have received an announcement email from a partner company where you have already had an account. The email address at which you have received this email must be used for the switch to SingleKey ID in order to have access to your data in the future. If you have not received an announcement email or have deleted it, contact the support of the respective partner company.

Legal and Privacy

Where is my data stored and how it is secured?

Your SingleKey ID user data is stored on secure servers located in Europe. Data specifically collected and used by partner websites, apps, products, and services are not hosted by SingleKey ID. Please contact the corresponding partner company to get further information on specific data storage and data security.

Is my data secure with SingleKey ID?

Your data is secured according to high regulative standards – SingleKey ID is fully compliant to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For further information on that topic, visit our Privacy Policy.

How does SingleKey ID deal with privacy?

Where can I see what data SingleKey ID has stored about me?

You can manage your personal data being stored by SingleKey ID here.

However, SingleKey ID primarily hosts data related to your unified digital key. To get access and manage the data stored by partners using SingleKey ID, visit the respective partner website or contact the partner's support channel.

Will my data be made available to all involved partners?

The data of your partner company accounts will not be transferred or shared with other partner companies using SingleKey ID. SingleKey ID focuses on providing you one digital key for accessing websites, apps, and services of multiple companies. Access to data related to SingleKey ID is not activated until you sign in with one of the participating companies using your SingleKey ID.

Will my business data be transferred to SingleKey ID?

The specific data of your partner accounts (including business data) will not be transferred to SingleKey ID. SingleKey ID allows you to log in and get access to data stored by a partner company – it does not host specific data of a company itself. This includes business data collected by the partner company. In order to access your business data, log in to the corresponding accounts of the partner company using SingleKey ID.
